AeVee Laboratories has been in business since 2003 helping customers develop state of the art products in professional audio, consumer electronics, medical electronics, aerospace, and industrial controls. Bob Gorry has more than 25 years of industry experience in audio, video, medical electronics, telecommunications, and industrial controls. He earned electrical engineering degrees from Yale University (MSEE) and the University of Connecticut (BSEE) and management certification from the MIT Sloan School of Business. At Yale, Bob studied digital signal processing with Roman Kuc and acoustics with Robert Apfel. He was Chief Engineer at Madrigal Audio Labs, leading development of the Mark Levinson No40 Media Console, a groundbreaking home theater system. Other major technical accomplishments before AeVee include a high performance videoconferencing system for central-office based distance learning facilities, an ISDN videoconferencing system for the banking industry, and one of the first commercial voice-recognition systems, implemented by NYNEX in the early 1990’s. Bob also worked with the international MPEG and MHEG committees and designed a set-top box as part of his duties for ITV Technologies in the early days of interactive television.


AeVee Laboratories has a balanced technical staff with extensive experience in digital electronics, analog electronics, and embedded software in consumer electronics, aerospace, and telecommunication. Products developed by our staff include professional audio processors, medical devices, gigabit telecommunication network switches, consumer audio/video processors, interactive television set-top boxes, ultrasonic measurement systems, high definition video processors, voice recognition, and video teleconferencing systems.


We are located in New Haven CT, approximately halfway between New York City and Boston, right off Exit 6 of I-91. Take a right off the exit and through the second traffic light at Mitchell Drive (about 1/4 mile). AeVee Labs is in the Marlin Business Center on the right hand side at 85 Willow Street. Go through the archway entrance to visitor parking. Take the main elevator to the third floor. Left off the elevator to Building 1, Suite 6. Additional Visitor parking in the large lot at Willow and Mitchell.
